Kate chose the Broderie Anglais fabric to tie in with the village fete theme for their reception. It was the perfect match for the marquee in the middle of the Malvern Hills, bunting and hay bails. We made the skirt tea length (just above the ankles) and the dress style she chose was the Grace with halterneck. A couple of slight alterations to the bodice to help the fabric sit smoothly, and the dress was perfect. Kate also wore a black sash and 2 layer black petticoat.
She also fell in love with one of the black and white button bouquets, so my lovely mum made up a bridesmaid bouquets, many many buttonholes and a stunning hair slide to match. It all went perfectly together.
It was an amazing wedding, such a wonderful reflection of the fantastic couple they are (the almost 300 dinner guests just shows how many lives they have touched in the time they've been together). The setting was perfect, the cake table filled with the loving baking of so many friends, the food, the dancing, the surprise fireworks.... I could wax lyrical about this wedding for hours. So instead, here's some lovely photos to show you the amazing time they had.
